Tree Planting Ceremony for the Coronation of King Charles III

invite also displayed on the Notice Board at the Pickled Postie . . .

Our thanks to Class 4 for all their help in making this a special occasion next week, followed by  tea and biscuits afterwards in the school hall.

By kind permission of Historic England we shall be planting a sapling Oak tree in the Garth, near the school.

The children of Class 4 and Miss Richardson have helped us make it into a special ceremony of commemoration for the King’s coronation.

Please join us if you’d like to be part of history in the making . . .  but be aware the ground in the Garth is uneven and may be slippery if wet and we’ve patches of nettles nearby . . .

so attendance will be at your own risk and all children should be accompanied by a responsible adult please.
