And so after 20 years as village Handyman, we say a big thank you and fond farewell to Martin . . . 
Taking pride of place in his beautiful woodland is the lovely teak bench given to him on behalf of us all.
His card was especially commissioned from Rachel S who pulled out all the stops for him: this talented young artist created a collage which even had removable tools (big thanks Rachel).
The sentiment inside encapsulates our thoughts. . .
Martin’s hard work and dedication was also recognised by the Playing Field Liaison C0mmittee, Cricket, Bowls & Tennis Clubs who gave him 2 bat roosting boxes also for his woodland, and some beer.
