A: Art Group “Cawood Art Group meets on alternate Monday mornings from 10.00 to 12.00 in the Bowls Club. We are a small friendly club and our programme includes themed painting days, workshops, demonstrations and outdoor sketching/painting in the summer months. Cawood in BloomC: Cawood in Bloom Having received sponsorship from the Parish Council and Stockbridge Technology Centre, Cawood in Bloom have looked after our public spaces including the beds at the Wistowgate roundabout, the pumping house near the bridge and Memorial Garden for many years.Cawood in Bloom also planted, watered and weeded tubs and barrels around the village. From Jan. 2020 the committee have retired and the PC will oversee future organisation.
CawoodstockC: Cawoodstocklaunched last year to wide public acclaim. Musicians and a host of talented creatives get together over August Bank Holiday weekend across several local venues to entertain and raise money for local charities.

P: Playgroup Cawood Playgroup is held at the Old Boys’ School. Contact Emily on 01757 269400. They meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:45 – 11:30a.m. Run by volunteers and operating during term time only, Playgroup welcome new members. The first session is free, thereafter the charge is £2 per family which includes a drink and snack each.
Playing Fields Liaison Committee
