Unfortunately the lockdown stopped us before we could start our new PC initiative Cawood Grows Together following the retirement of the Cawood in Bloom group.
We are committed to sustainable planting and want to explore community veg growing too. We have tried to fill some gaps, despite recent events. Some containers have herbs, veg and fruit in: even the tiny strawberries are edible. Snip some herbs for your salad, nip off some salad leaves, cross your fingers we get some tomatoes! Next year will be bigger and better, but we are trying to salvage some of our plans this year . . . all these plants need some TLC : weeding, dead heading and loads of water.
